:growing up

.

:perfect weekend to grow up ur legs, or at least one of them.. reminds u to what? to me, to a lot of stuff. but wait, let’s first start!

:Erección by Yoan Capote is project that works with one of my favorite, inspirational objects – chair. and I am not pretty sure when this attraction/ connection with d chairs happen, was it before I learn smthing about industrial design or afterwords.

:anyway, amazing piece of art, surreal, dreamy, reminds me bit of d nose that grows in d story for  Pinocchio, a bit of d elephant leaps, or giving importance to d thing u grow in ur life..

:I must put this chairs here before d day is over. d wine is pretty good here. .. can u choose one chair for me, be aware is huge one, choose wisely 😉

Doris Salcedo (Colombia, 1958-)

:time.to.study

.

:I’ll share this post in silence, I am lazy to write, d installation speaks about learning, and learning is listening, not only telling this and that .. time to study!

!take ur blue chair or half of iT!

.

.

.

:so, what’s next? – I’m really happy when I share things, art pieces that I like. ..it’s really not a problem for me to make this so called white blogging very often. sometimes d works speak for themselves so it’s not necessary someone as me to write about them, how beautiful they are, how shiny they are etc.. u enjoy d photos from d Installation by Yoichi Yamamoto Architects titled “2D/3D CHAIRS,”

.

.

The back of the chairs stand up from the stage, while the legs of the chairs are drawings on the floor of the stage.
If you look at the installation from one point in front of the shop window, the back of the chairs, which are three-dimensional objects, and the legs of the chairs, which are two-dimensional drawings, meet and create a single figure.” . ..if u want to read more really u can go and read @ dezeen or designboom;

.

.

:amazing, a? – mow I can write tones about d complexity of this work, but I prefer to skip my will and enjoy d simplicity that glows from d beauty of this blue chairs. amazing installation indeed, Yoichi Yamamoto (1975) & Yayoi Ito (1979) – check their web page: have done a great job with d perspective, combing of two messages in one line, d ambient and with d project like whole.

?do u enjoy this installation, u think is clever idea for a boutique vitrine. .. u can leave ur comments below or on :d white b[l]og ::: #facebook page

.time to start d day:::urban nomads!

As I promise to myself few days ago on facebook this is d part of blog story in which I will say smt for this project u see in d pictures. Amazing one, even before I star thinking about it I have thought that this nowadays nomads went far away with d ideas. To mobilize ur full network in so artistic but still engaged space is great.

Since I saw it I was like, I want to have one, is this one of d future changes that we’ll see in real soon. Pretty comfortably position of the elements in this object, and d story connect with d urban, d connection with d architecture and environment, this can be one design that can be part of d contemporary era.

“Slow Car is an obvious update of the utopian interchangeability of structures by Constant’s New Babylon, not only privileging the car as a place of inhabitation as much as a vehicle, but also a nod in the direction of the much discussed urban nomad. It further evokes the Existenzminimum provoked by homelessness and moreover the cocooning refuge of Laugier’s hut. Encompassing easy, humorous reinventions of use as well as more challenging ones, Hyperlinks, one can nonetheless conclude, is about design reborn, framing a unity of biological metaphor and process with a friendly, existential, ‘coming home to ourselves’ agenda that continues to resonate throughout the emerging transdisciplinary design landscape.”

Lucy Bullivant

:the funny interesting part for this tiny Slow Car is that travels at a maximum of 25 miles per hour and u know maybe is not to fast but fair enough for checking mail in same time or updating ur blog

Studio Makkink & Jurgen Bey, for Prooff made this super project, symbiosis of urban design, architecture, landscape architecture and product design.

an office chair/vehicle/mobile office

..happen if you had a rampless city. You could develop new transportation, no pavements or kerbs. You could work with a new collective. In the campus there’s a new ruling: make just one level – a rampless city. And then it becomes easier for developing new transportation.

Instead of a car, you start with the office chair. Its already on wheels, but now, you can only move around table. If you give it fuel or charge it, it could move from one end of the building to another. With electricity and a battery, it can go from inside to outside. Transportation becomes your office that will move. In this way, you could also develop the outside space as part of the office.

So it’s a robotic office chair..

The Slow Car could be your private space that you travel in. The chair/car has a limited view so that it allows you to be able to concentrate. In this way, the city will also be viewed differently. You see details and not the overview. This kind of viewing is the same as in computer games where you have to pan to look left or right and it also works with a joystick. So there’s already a familiarity there.

It has all the qualities that we’re not competing with cars but more competing with office chairs. Then it’s the best office chair and not the slowest car, interesting idea for this time.
