.once upon a time

.. . probably there was some wall and there was some storyteller that start his own way. it was urban, funny, deep, tricky and interesting. ..till it last I guess.

Good job I would say because once I was in a same story but I returned 2 times and there was not some big connection between d two paintings I left. Here there’s harmony as d graffiti man writes itself and there was ‘understanding’ in some way. [not]

.anyway they helped each other, one gives to another regular daily job, d other gives inspiration and right concept in d right place. this is d urban story of our lives. u like it?

:fluorescent outlines between d bricks

I saw project as this before but d thing that I like here more then d others is that here d artist use green fluorescent color for d contoures/ outlines. “Fill In 2” by Aakash Nihalani is piece of art that reinvent d environment, give to d old one new look.

:what do u think? it’s playful, interesting for d eyes and make this old wall more funny. I don’t think that they need to fix this wall anymore. it looks bit digital, d texture is amazing, makes u optical illusion as this wall is part of some video game, d bricks are moving if u trip in it few seconds.

I know that I bit slow this days with posting but I have pretty much things to do, and in this turbulent periods I just collect street art. I don’t know why but in moments when I work I just don’t stop on d conceptual art and nowadays actually there are not so grande projects besides d one supported with video.. d girl that makes some circles in d snow  walking that I don’t count as some big concept just good payed.

.. I saw this in my stream yesterday but I was thinking is too commercial, to much fancy for my eyes, but today I saw it one more time and I read d story. I think is good piece of art..

This beautiful work is composed of more than 2,500 letters and characters from different languages from around the world. The colorful writing is illuminated from behind, and walking into this room is a bit like walking into an abstracted conversation in which you’re hearing bits and pieces of the entire planetary population talking at once.  This piece, by Noriko Shiozawa (塩澤徳子), is called “Koto-no-ha” (こと‐の‐は), which is an older Japanese word for “language.”  Shiozawa-san was kind enough to give her permission to allow the photograph above to be used as the cover for the UNESCO Jakarta Annual Report 2008.
